====== Off Grid Nutrients ======
In order to meet optimum nutrient requirements off grid you need to eat foods that contain all of the RDA values.

The RDA values are not entirely chemically complete; they assume you are eating random food containing them.

There are 93+ nutrients, minerals, probiotics, amino acids, etc. that you need to meet in order to get all *optimum* nutients to fuel your body.

There are three lists, one is an extract of the RDAs, one is research backed nutrient values, and one is Cognisa Ltd's reverse optimum diet calculations.

In future we will develop software to match these nutrients to their supply chains and precise products that can produce them in a self sufficient environment. Then we can develop food robots and things to produce our own food sovereignity.

===== How to meet these nutrient requirements off grid (maybe) =====
Perhaps the only way that is likely to meet your b12 and certain other requirements in an Off-Grid environment (without advanced chemical proceedures) is to eat animals. But you also can't buy in nutrients to feed plants to feed the animals, so a complete ecosystem is needed.

This is why aquaponics is probably the best existing solution if you intend to be completely self-sovereign.

This process involves hyroponic farming balanced with fish or animals (usually fish primarily). When you introduce a perfectly balanced system (ecosystem) you dont need to provide new nutrients to the system, it functions like an ecosystem does in the wild, with different life forms using the waste products from the others and taking in mainly sunlight and oxygen and balancing all other nutrient needs because its an ecosystem.

To improve your food diveristy, you will need to grow diverse plants, including ones to feed the animals. You can farm Black Soldier Fly on food waste and manure etc, and feed them to fish and bantams/chickens and you can feed guieni foul with your plants and you can then keep a goat or family of goats. This enables red + white meat, fish for omega 3 and also milk production as well as a diverse range of plants. Therefore meeting most nutrient requirements.

You will grow grain for ethanol, use biodigestors on all waste and manure, and perhaps composting in order to produce fertilizer and fuels for cooking and power, but this is for another article.

In the future we will know how to do this without using animals, and we will also know how to produce better tasting food without using them too. Solutions for other diets are available, but not really in a self-sovereign ecosystem, without some animal to use for completing the system, so if that is important to you, you will take the prepping approach to self-sufficiency, which is possible, and you can last multiple lifetimes using stocks of vegan nutrients for example.
